Join United Women in Faith members and friends to learn about the vital work of ending corporal punishment in schools. This workshop will be led by two key leaders in the Mississippi Coalition to End Corporal Punishment, Ms. Janice Harper and Ms. Dianna Freelon-Foster. 

The workshop will focus on:
* How corporal punishment harms children;
* Racial disparities in the use of corporal punishment in schools;
* Understanding the historical roots of corporal punishment in the United States; and 
* Local, state and federal campaigns to end corporal punishment in schools.

This workshop is hosted by United Women in Faith. There is no cost to participate. All are welcome. Space is limited and registration is accepted on a first-come, first-served basis. This workshop is live/interactive and will not be recorded.
